FDIC Insurance on your deposits
up to $50,000,000 through
(CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT ACCOUNT REGISTRY SERVICE®)

In 1980, Congress set FDIC coverage limits at $100,000 per account per bank. The only way to obtain FDIC insurance on deposits over this amount was to open multiple accounts with multiple banks. This meant having to manage varying interest rates and consolidating numerous monthly statements in order to fully insure your funds.
Rhinebeck Savings Bank, with this Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service can provide you with full FDIC insurance coverage on your deposits up to $50,000,000.
Our Account Managers will work with you to invest your large deposits. Your funds will be broken out into increments of less than $100,000 and placed into Certificates of Deposit issued by Rhinebeck Savings and other banks in the network. Through CDARS, we provide you access to full FDIC insurance coverage up to $50,000,000. Now, you only need to work with one bank, us, Rhinebeck Savings.
